Please reach out to email@example.com for scheduling new client intakes. You may also reach out to the therapist you are interested in working with to inquire about availability. Each clinician at DL Counseling has a different schedule, availability, cost, and ability to bill your insurance. If a clinician is not able to bill your insurance directly, they can give you documentation (a superbill) to submit for reimbursement from your insurance provider.
HOW LONG WILL THE PROCESS TAKE?
The therapeutic process if client specific. We have some clients who will work through the topics in a few months, and other clients who will work on several issues over the course of a couple of years coming at a every other week or monthly basis. The best thing about individual therapy is that this is not a cookie-cutter process and we will work on the issues that are important for you while also identifying potential other maladaptive behaviors or thought processes to explore.
WILL MY HEALTH INSURANCE COVER THERAPY?
Insurance may cover the cost of therapy, and is dependent on your specific health care plan. Many insurance plans cover the majority of sessions with clients being responsible for a copay, office visit, or meeting a deductible. If your plan offers a HSA/FSA account then you are able to use that towards the cost of therapy. We would highly encourage you to call the member services number on your card and inquire about your specific plan.
*Note* For insurance to cover the cost of session you will need to have a formal billable diagnosis that is submitted to your insurance provider. If you are seeking services for something that is not a billable service, your clinician will work with you to determine the best course of action moving forward.
