I have been working in the addiction and mental health field since starting an undergraduate internship experience in 2009 helping individuals with substance use disorders applying for jobs, building resumes, cover letters, and teaching basic Microsoft Software Suite skills. This experience resulted in developing a passion for working with individuals with substance use disorder and other process addiction behaviors.

Additional internship and work experiences resulted in having opportunities to do assessments, group, individual sessions, case management, teaching/training interns, and clinical supervision for clinicians and interns. 

In 2016 I was given the opportunity to be a supervisor at my place of employment, and in 2017 I was missing direct clinical experiences, so I started my practice as an opportunity to continue to provide direct clinical work and support.

In 2020 I had the opportunity to take the practice full time and have been working on building the practice and additional training opportunities since then to better support clients.
